    Das Thinkpad X41T hab ich letztens für 150€ im Sofort Kauf gesehen such ich gleich mal raus..

    Oder muss es ein richtiges Tablet sein? Das wäre ja beides eig. viel genialer :D

    Soweit ich ihn verstanden hatte, sollte es ein richtiges Tablet sein. Also mit Android.

    Zumal ich vermute, dass er es auch als Tablet verwenden will, folglich evtl zum surfen auf dem Sofa, da istn X41 evtl etwas zu unhandlich.

    Würder 157€ kosten.


    Habe mal wieder an Windows 8 rumgebastelt. Endlich ist nun wieder ein ordentliches Startmenü ohne Transparenz vorhanden. Und diese komische Seitenleiste am rechten Rand mit Metroscheiße ("Charms") ist nun auch weg :)

    Ich werds mir wohl bei Gelegenheit auch mal ziehen. Geht leider hier in der Firma net, da wir bei http durch unseren Squid Proxy nur maximal 2gb ziehen können.


    Es gibt ja zwei NTFS-Implementierungen unter Linux. Eine ist bereits im Kernel integriert. Sie ermöglicht zwar keinen Schreibzugriff, aber ein Lesezugriff auf den Stick sollte möglich sein. Wird der Stick denn an Windows-Rechnern erkannt?

    Zusätzlich gibt es noch die Implementierung ntfs-3g. Sie läuft im Userspace. Dadurch ist sie langsamer als die des Kernels. Dafür kann ntfs-3g aber Schreibzugriff.
    Probier mal die Installation des Paketes ntfs-3g und versuche anschließend mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt -t ntfs-3g -o force

    ntfs-3g ist ja drauf. Mir geht es darum, dass der Stick quasi automatisch gemounted wird, wie an meinem Hauptrechner.



    Mittlerweile ist mein Problem gelöst. Im Endeffekt, lag es daran, dass ein Eintrag in der fstab quergeschossen hat.

    P.S Ja ich habe Debian auch von USB-Stick installiert, da mein T61 kein optisches Laufwerk hat.

    Jeder Prozessor seit dem Pentium Pro (mit den ersten Pentium M als Ausnahme) kann das in der Theorie. Was du in diesem Fall siehst, ist hingegen ein PAE-fähiger Linux-Kernel.

    Ich dachte nur, dass das System auf shadowtux screenshot ein Ubuntu 12.04 ist, folglich war ich etwas irritiert, da (wie ihr beide schon gesagt habt), der Pentium M, welcher ja neuer als der P3 ist, kein PAE kann.

    Btw. Hab ich recht, und das ist n Ubuntu 12.04?


    In der Tat kann ich das verstehen. Ich setze es aber auch beruflich ein. Bei uns gibt es garkeine Windows-Workstations in der Firma. Alles Linux.

    Ich würd gerne bei euch arbeiten. :D Mir war es freigestellt, welches System ich verwende. Folglich bin ich zu Linux gegangen, womit ich auch alles machen kann was ich brauch. (Vom Sharepoint mal abgesegen.)

    Wobei wir der lebende Beweis sind, dass man auch mit einer (fast) reinen Windows - Infrastruktur (Wir haben nur nen Xen-Server für unseren MS Sharepoint und unsere Firewalls mit IPcop und Slackware), gut arbeiten kann.
    Wobei, wir haben auch noch n paar Mac Clients.

    Mittlerweile gibt es bei mir noch einen zusätzlichen Grund:
    Linux (Debian auf meinem Thinkpad T61) hilft mir bei meiner Arbeit. (Administration/Systemintegration). Ich glaub shadowtux versteht mich in diesem Fall.

    ich habe heute n besonderes Problem.
    Die Ausgangslage:
    Mein PC ist per WLAN mit unserer Fritz! Box Fon WLAN 7240 verbunden.
    Unter Debian wlan1.
    Ebenfalls ist mein PC per LAN (eth0) mit einer Arcor EasyBox A600 verbunden, welche aber keinen Zugriff auf dass Internet bekommt. An der Easy Box, hängt noch mein Thin Client mit Debian.
    Der TC besitzt nur die Netzwerkschnittstelle eth0.

    Nun möchte ich, dass mein TC irgendwie Internetzugriff bekommt, ohne physich (egal ob per WLAN oder LAN) an die Fritz Box angeschlossen sein muss.
    Ist das irgendwie möglich?
