Mesa ist nur die generelle OpenGL-Schnittstelle für unixoide Betriebssysteme. Hardware-beschleunigtes OpenGL bekommst du entweder über einen DRI-Treiber für die Hardware (Intel, Nouveau, Radeon) oder einen proprietären Ersatz für die libgl-Bibliothek (Nvidia, Catalyst) hin.
Wenn der Client selber in Software rechnet, aber die Ausgabe per GLX erfolgt, steht trotzdem "direct rendering: Yes" da (heutzutage übliche Situation im Falle fehlender 3D-Unterstützung), dann hat man aber als Renderer "Software Rasterizer".
Kann ich da jetzt noch irgendwie etwas mehr Leistung rauskitzeln?
Hm also direktes Rendering geht schonmal (sonst ständ da was von Mesa Indirect)Hm eigentlich sollte OpenArena so tun.

So jetzt muss ich etwas fragen, evtl klingt das dumm, aber Ich hab mich noch nie so wirklich mit dem X-Server beschäftigt. In meinem T61 ist ne Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller verbaut. xorg-xvideo-intel ist installiert. Trotzdem zeigt mir openarena bspw das der Mesa Treiber verwendet wird.
X -configure hat mir folgende xorg.conf ausgespuckt:

Allerdings ändert sich auch mit der xorg.conf nix. Ich habe den Eindruck, irgendetwas vergessen zu haben. Angeblich wird die Karte ja automatisch erkannt. Allerdings bin ich mir bei Debian da nicht so sicher. Dualhead funzt allerdings einwandfrei.
Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen.

Hat mir damals bei meinen Versuchen mit dem Apache sehr geholfen.
Apache2 soll alles, was in /var/www liegt nur mit Passwortabfrage ausliefern. Joa etwas allgemein gehalten. Aber mich würde mal interessieren, welchen Editor ihr gerne nutzt. Unabhängig von den Dingen, die ihr mit dem Editor anstellt.
Ganz interessant wäre es noch zu wissen, warum ihr den jeweiligen Editor nutzt.

Die Quersumme im mittleren Teil muss durch 7 teilbar sein und muss immer mit ner 0 Beginnen.
Z. B. So: 12345-0777777-54321Der Rest vorne und hinten is wurscht. Kannst quasi dein Geburtsdatum für einsetzen.
Vorne müssen doch die ersten 3 Zahlen zwischen 001 und 365 sein müssen und die anderen 2 zwischen 95-02. Oder täusche Ich mich da?

Wobei ich dir mit Debian und Gnome absolut recht gebe. Allerdings finde ich, dass auch Kubuntu ne bescheidene KDE-Integration hatte.
Als ich KDE 3 sah, fand ich es ist wegen der Schrift zu futuristisch
Na ja, hab damals mit KDE 2 angefangen, bin auf KDE 3, dann mal 4 mit Kubuntu ausprobiert. Wobei man sagen muss, auf OpenSuSe ist KDE4 super integriert. KDE 3 war mit Debian Sarge, Etch und Lenny noch recht gut nutzbar. Wenn es KDE und Debian sein soll, empfehle ich Kanotix (mit Stable-Basis) oder Aptosid (mit Unstable-Basis).

Hm mir langt die Software. Wirkliche Probleme habe ich nur mit fglrx (oh Wunder). Aber ansonsten? Vielleicht bin ich auch einfach zu konservativ. Aber wie sage Ich immer, man soll das nutzen, was für einen am besten passt. Nutze ja auch n Ubuntu-Server.
