    Muss ich ganz ehrlich auch zu beiden Videos sagen. Schade eigentlich, gibt so viel wirklich guten deutschen Rap von anderen Künstlern, den ziehen diese Ganster-Leute imho in den Dreck. Naja seis drum.

    Ich meinte das generell auf "Rappen" bezogen - ich kann das einfach nicht ab. Ob da nun Text mit Hintergrund dabei ist oder nur hohle Phrasen ist mir da gleich.

    Ach ja, die Zeit vergeht...

    Jo, da haste wiederum recht. Aber hier gehts nunmal um Geekbench - und da isser Mist :P Und dass die Kiste lahm ist, hab' ich bei meiner Mutter gesehen: Der E-350 war nämlich ihr Hauptrechner bis vor Kurzem. Gequält mit Windows 10 - und das Teil IST 'ne Qual gewesen. Da bringt dir die ggf. ach so schnelle GPU nüscht, wenn die CPU nich fertig wird.


    Der E-350 war ja auch als Atom-Konkurrent konzipiert, was recht annehmbar gelungen ist - C2Ds sind aber eine andere Kragenweite.

    Naja, "gelungen"... Mag zwar flotter sein - aber deutlich mehr Abwärme produziert er auch. Und der Core 2 Duo, den ich da anführte, ist ein Low Voltage-Prozessor, kein "normaler" Core 2 Duo. Der ist gerade für energiesparende Systeme gedacht gewesen.

    Und mit 18 W TDP ist der E-350 deutlich über ähnlich schnellen Atoms (z. B. D525) gelegen, die noch dazu 'n Jahr eher rauskamen. Der SL7100 hat 'ne TDP von 12 W, 1 W unter der TDP des D525.

    Kommt etwa nach 'ner halben Minute, nach dem ich zum Test einfach mal mittels apt-get update die aktuellen Pakete vom Debian-Server laden will.


    Könnte auch Hardware sein.

    Dann müssten ja sowohl die Ethernet- als auch die WLAN-Schnittstelle beide nahezu synchron ausgefallen sein... Halte ich eher für unwahrscheinlich, zumal nach 'nem 'nem Reconnect (WLAN aus, wieder an, neu verbinden; ifdown, Stecker ziehen, ifup, dhclient) das Ganze ja wieder kurzzeitig geht.


    Was sagt eine andere Distri?

    Mal eben mit grml 2011.05 getestet: Beim Gigabit Ethernet genau das Selbe 8| Aber auch mit der per USB drangehangenen Netgear FA120 sieht's genauso aus (die IPv6-Meldung kommt sowohl sowohl Debian 8.4 als auch grml 2011.05)...

    Irgendwie hab' ich seit ein paar Tagen 'n Problem mit dem Debian 8.4 auf meinem ThinkPad X300:

    Schon seit der Neuinstallation will der network-manager(-gnome) immer nach dem Login ein WLAN-Passwort von mir haben - egal, ob ich nun ausgewählt habe "für diesen Benutzer speichern" oder "für alle Benutzer speichern". Außerdem scheint nach ein paar MB an Daten die Verbindung einzufrieren - es passiert einfach nix mehr, wenn man z. B. 'ne andere Web-Seite aufrufen will.

    Da ich 'n Problem mit dem netowrk-manager vermutete, hab' ich also erstmal alle Verbindungen gelöscht und den komplett runtergeworfen (sudo apt-get purge network-manager network-manager-gnome). Nun stelle ich aber gerade fest, dass dieses Einfrieren der Verbindung auch bei kabelgebundener Netzwerkverbindung (ohne network-manager mittlerweile) auftritt!

    Hat da jemand 'ne Idee, was da für ein Problem vorliegen könnte? Ist einfach so aus heiterem Himmel aufgetreten, ohne, dass ich 'n Paket gelöscht hätte oder Updates gemacht hätte :b2:


    Das war der größte Fail von Intel überhaupt...

    So ein Quatsch. Wo war denn der Pentium 4 ein Fail? Der Pentium 4 war seinerzeit mit den Northwood mit HyperThreading der schnellste Prozessor am Markt. Er war auch das Top-Modell seitens Intel in der Zeit. Stromsparen war zu dem Zeitpunkt kein all zu großes Thema im Desktop-Bereich - das kam erst im Laufe der langen Lebenszeit des Pentium 4 verstärkt auf. Und seine Leistung hat er nunmal gebracht.

    Ein viel Größerer Fehlgriff seitens Intel war da der iAPX432 - oder der Itanium. Letzterer hätte echt ordentlich Potential gehabt, aber dank diverser Verzögerungen...


    Obwohl, auf den AthlonXPs kannste Eierbraten und die Boards sind regelmessig verreckt, wegen dauerhaft überhitzen Elkos...

    Weil die Mainboardhersteller pfuschen, ist die CPU Mist? Sicherlich mag das Gehäuse-Design vom Athlon Thunderbird/XP nicht das montagefreundlichste gewesen sein, aber wenn die CPU und die Kühlvorrichtung entsprechend fachgerecht installiert sind, hält das wunderbar. Und dass die Elkos scheiße positioniert sind, ist 'n Problem, was beim Mainboard-Designer zu suchen ist.
