Sehr interessanter Progressive Metal. Klingt teilweise sehr wie Tool ( julben), Name und Cover des Albums könnten durchaus ne Homage sein. Meistens aber etwas chaotischer als Tool (auch wenn nicht grad so übel wie Aphex Twin), dazu ein avantgardistisches Saxophon was man ab und zu raushört. Gefällt mir.

Porcupine Tree - Prodigal

Klone klingt auf den Last.fm-Samples tatsächlich recht Tool-ähnlich, ist sicher mal ein Durchhören wert, werd' ich mal machen wenn ich Zeit hab. Bei progressivem Zeugs tendiere ich aber momentan eher in Richtung Progressive Rock wo ich dir (sicher auch im Namen von Igor :D) Porcupine Tree empfehlen kann.

Hihi, Porcupine Tree bin ich jetzt auch grad am reinhören, weil das auch überall verlinkt wird. Klingt gut, aber steh dann doch eher auf Metal denn Rock.

Die metallischere Seite von Porcupine Tree findet sich erst ab In Absentia (2002), deutlich in Richtung Metal geht es ab Fear of a Blank Planet (2007). Die älteren Alben sind atmosphärischer und eher Rock. Dir könnten Fear of a Blank Planet (Song), Shallow, The Blind House, und Way Out of Here gefallen, wenn du so aus der Tool-Ecke kommst; wenn du eine Vorliebe für längere Stücke hast, empfehle ich Anesthetize, Arriving Somewhere But Not Here und Time Flies, welches aber sehr nach Pink Floyd klingt.
