Sooo, nochmal ein paar neue Werte für ein paar Sockel 478-CPUs. Allesamt auf einem ASUS P4T-E mit 512MB RDRAM PC800 (4x 128MB NonECC) - also die selbe Kombo, wie schon bei den anderen Pentium 4-Werten aus Beitrag #550.

Und schon wieder was Neues!
Diesmal: Ein Pentium III-S 1400 auf einem VIA Apollo Pro 133T-Board (Shuttle AV18E2). Im Normaltakt kamen auch wieder 834 Punkte zum Vorschein - wie beim i815EP-Board (ASUS TUSL2-C). Allerdings hab ichs diesmal mit übertakten versucht. Mit den beiden 256MB-PC133-SDRAM-Modulen bin ich "nur" bis 140MHz FSB gekommen, darüber gabs dann Kernelpaniken. Also habe ich nochmal in meiner Kramkiste gesucht und noch ein 128MB-PC133-Modul gefunden, was lt. SPD-Informationen PC142 kann. Am Ende bin ich bei 160MHz FSB angekommen - was einem CPU-Takt von 1680MHz entspricht. Wohlbemerkt mit der normalen Kernspannung von 1,45V. Ab 161MHz FSB lief das Board dann nicht mehr hoch - auch nicht mit leicht erhöhter Kernspannung von 1,475V oder 1,50V. Immerhin: Die 1000 Punkte-Marke habe ich überschreiten können

Lässt sich auch bei einem Athlon Thunderbird 1333 C rekonstruieren. Eigentlich wollte ich das Ganze ja auf einem ASUS A7V (VIA KT133) testen, aber das Board weigert sich, etwas mit dem 1400C anzufangen - selbst bei eingestellten 100MHz FSB (also 1050 MHz CPU-Takt). Nunja, da werde ich morgen noch etwas experimentieren.

Wieso? Läuft doch im "Tryout Mode" - und mehr als das mache ich ja nicht. Ich probiere aus, ob das 2.1.4 auf den Prozessoren funktioniert

Allerdings find ichs etwas dööflich, dass die 2.1.4 unter Linux bei mir bei den Athlon Thunderbird und Duron Spitfire fröhlich mit einem "Illegal Instruction"-Fehler abbricht, jedes Mal an der Selben Stelle (während der FPU-Tests). Ist auch Board-unabhängig, es sei denn, das ist ein Bug, den es in den VIA-Chipsätzen vom KT133 (non-A!) bis hoch zum KT600 gibt.. Habs nämlich auf einem KT133-Board, zwei KT333- und einem KT600-Board probiert - überall mit dem selben Effekt..

Dass die CPUs mit FSB200 nicht die korrekten Taktanzeigen bringen, ist etwas eigenartig - im BIOS werden die korrekt angezeigt und getaktet.... -

Immerhin schaffts der Rechner, ungefähr zwischen einem Pentium III 1000 und einem Pentium III-S 1133 zu sein - allerdings darf man nicht vergessen, dass das Ganze ja nur emuliert ist - nativ ia64 gibts ja leider kein Geekbench. Von daher: Bitte Blau färben.

Das Test System hat zwei Mendocino Celeron's auf einem Abit BP6 die von Geekbench nicht richtig erkannt wurden.
Ausserdem kann ich mit dem alten Geekbench 2.1.13 keine Ergebnisse mehr hochladen.
